DIY Hair Mask

Today was my monthly hair mask day and I'll tell you what I did but first let me tell you a little bit about my hair.

My natural hair color is a dark brown black and before I dyed it it was super thick and healthy.
I dyed it jet black when I was like a sophomore and there wasn't really a big change till I went lighter and dyed my hair auburn brown. I then dyed it golden brown and I did not like it. So before I went to college I dyed my hair black so I wouldn't have to dye it anymore. Months went by till I decided to dye it auburn brown again. This was around October or November. I came home and decided I wanted it more red so I dyed it deep red. And I loved it! But by that time my hair was feeling really dry. I started using hair masks twice a month and my hair looks so much better. I recently dyed it black again and it was a big change. So today I did my monthly hair mask and this is what I used:

•Half of an avocado
•A small banana (or 1/2 a banana if it's big)
•1 egg
•2 tbs of mayo
•2 tbs of extra virgin olive oil

You mix all of these ingredients in a blow with a fork or put it in the blender for a purée finish.

Apply the mixture in your hair starting from your roots all the way to your ends.

When done applying leave in for 20-30 mins then wash it out, shampoo as normal.

When done let your hair air dry. Or if you want you can blow dry it and style it. (Don't forget to put heat protectant on if you are going to blow dry it.)

Your hair should feel soft and look shiny even after just one hair mask.
